Creating a MSFS gauge might be something for a programmer who knows MSFS. Personally I don't and I do not have the time to get into this. However I would help out everybody who tries to convert the MCDU to a gauge. You just need the MCDU. All the rest isn't meant to be accessible from the flight deck anyway (it's somewhere deep in the equipment center in real planes, after all).
Concerning "commercials" on IVAO and VATSIM: this might be an area where I will do things. ACARS was mainly developed to support World Flight http://www.worldflight.com.au and the more people use it during this event, the better, of course.
All your comments welcome! Apologies for the late answer.
Pushing further
Thanks for the compliments, Erik.
