I'm integrating your exellent MCDU in my B763 cockpit. Is there a way to change/add a sound when a new message arrives? I only get the standard windows "bloeng" now.
The whole idea was that everybody can change the standard Windows "boing" sound into whatever they like!
In real aircraft, the MCDU does not in any way generate a sound -- this is the task of the box that drives the EICAS. Only when there's an EICAS message, there may be a chime. FMC MESSAGE is such an event.
However if really needed I can easily add this to the MCDU.
Because some use your ACARS in MSFS and the MCDU is not always visible, it can come in handy to hear a sound so we can focus on the MCDU. The color change of the foating display is not enough to draw the attention in my oppinion.
The standard Windows Boing IS the sound

Thanks,

Is now on the list
I do acknowledge that a standard Windows "boing" likely won't work in the cacophony of sounds on a simulated flight deck.
