Can your MCDU work together with PMDG software?

My MCDU has been designed to work independently of any program or simulator. This means two things:

  1. It can peacefully coexist with nearly anything
  2. It does not seamlessly integrate into anything

In particular, my MCDU will not replace any built-in (M)CDU of any simulator.

Simulator programs such as PMDG or Level-D (or even MSFS) are usually not designed with third-party extensions in mind. Adding a new menu option to their (M)CDUs is impossible. Docking my MCDU into their panels is impossible.

The opposite is possible, though: my MCDU has been designed to allow displays from other modules via a network link. All documentation for this is online, and several third-party programs exist that use this option (such as VisualPS1).

That said, you can always overlay my MCDU on somebody else's panel, or display it on another screen.

One of my programs that uses my MCDU is the ACARS system. ACARS does not need seamless integration with any simulator to work and be useful. There even is a small integration program that feeds ACARS with limited information from MSFS (with any addon) to get very close to the real ACARS implementations.
