im using my laptop with WIDEFS can i use ACARS(CPDLC) on it and it will conect to FS2004?

I am currently researching ACARS and I need input from primary sources regarding ACARS as a technology, so I truly hope that you are able to help me answer several questions for my thesis.

I would appreciate your time spent on providing input and answers to some of the questions below (I do not expect to have all of them answered by any individual):

Q1. Are there any political and/or legislative issues to consider for potential ACARS resellers and service providers such as demands from Eurocontrol and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA)?

I tried to change my Mach speed as I'm flying M.80, but it's saying M.85 in my reports. I can't find out where to change it?

Is it correct to say that there are two distinct steps to redispatch - first, contact company dispatch to obtain the redispatch; second, request reclearance from ATC?
What is going to be the form of the conversations, either by voice or ACARS/CPDLC? What information does dispatch and controller require from the pilot?

I am about to try out your CPDLC system as a controller on VATSIM.

While playing around with it, I found speed units predefined as follows: M80 / K300. The M is clear, but would K be considered "km/h" or "knots"? According to ICAO flightplan standards, it would be "km/h" - though I cannot believe it really.

Is it possible for the Dispatch client to have PosRep and Progress. What about ADS-C Editor?

I'm looking to make a website with an overview of all aircrafts online ( and later only the ones of my company).
I can see other planes online but not mine. I use the MsFs bridge tool. The position reports I send manually are correct.
As I understand correctly I have to send a ADS-C message from WFTRACK to my flight. I receive that message on the MCDU.
I did the Preflight in the MCDU and checked ADS is set to ON. Still I don't send automatic position reports.

Is there something I do wrong here?
