Picture 1 (Airco Outlets)

Things visible in this shot include:
Ram Air Exits (RAE). Bleed air going into the airconditioning packs and air coming out of the pack compressor is cooled by air drawn in from the atmosphere via Ram Air Inlets (RAI) and directed to a heat exchanger. The air is then vented via electronically controlled Ram Air Exit doors. The RAE are really a series of linked vanes (like venetian blinds).
Marker Antenna ("Toblerone" shaped protrusion).
Lower Beacon(far right).
(Don't forget to close the latches on the Potable(drinking) Water Servicing panel before the aircraft leaves!).

Picture 2 (Airco Inlets)

Ram Air Inlets for Packs for cooling the Pack air (These suck!) Don't walk under these if you're wearing a toupe ;-). Open Potable Water Servicing Panel. Landing Lights in the wing leading edge.

Picture 3 (Captain's Panel)

Picture 4 (F/O's Panel)

TIMEOUT RESELECT FMC scratchpad msg (looks like there's been a recent power interrupt).
WINDOW HEAT 1L, WINDOW HEAT 1R, Status Messages (The Window Heat switches have been turned off).
F/O's bootmarks on the control panels!
Rudder pedal adjustment knob (between the pedals). Adjustment for leg length only.
Gear(Lock) Override pushbutton (You can't put the landing gear in the UP position if something is amiss with the landing gear... unless you push this lever... Do so at your own risk!).
True/Magnetic Heading switch (Only automatic in PS1 when in the higher/lower latitudes).
FMC selector knob (FMC Left or Right).
EICAS control panel (Controls for lighting and selection of computers).
Landing Alt at 2000' (Upper EICAS). This is the default landing altitude when there has been no input from the FMC (and no manual entry has been made).

Picture 6 (MCP)

Picture 7 (Cargo to MEC)

Small white tube protruding from the ceiling just beyond the overhead light goes to one of the cargo fire/smoke detectors (the air is sucked through this pipe by a bleed air-powered venturi).

MEC/CARGO Door (Note the warning on the door... Not only for smoke/fire containment, but if the door is left ajar, when the cargo pallets are loaded this door can cause considerable damage to wiring and circuit breakers.

Picture 8 (MEC to cabin)

Remote CDU (used for maintenance purposes... or as a spare for the cockpit at line stations). Hatch to First Class Area (Usually covered with carpet) which may have to be torn to gain access to the MEC in times of emergencies). The big white thing on the right is the collapsible MEC ladder (MEC to ground). CB panels.

Picture 9 (MEC to cargo)

Triangular shaped panel just aft of the door is where the crew oxy bottles are stored (the pax oxy bottles are just aft of this).

Picture 10 (Left body gear)

Picture 11 (Left body gear, 2)

Note "scrubbing" on left hand wheel (John can probably tell you more about this).

Picture 12 (Left crawlway)

Picture 13 (Left crawlway, 2)

In the Main Equipment Centre, looking towards the nose.
On the left hand side is the Fwd Overboard Valve (see tube with a metal screen/filter on the end). This valve is for supplementary ventilation. Cabin Telephone Unit (I'm not really familiar with the KLM configuration, but I guess this is the interface between the Satellite Communications system and the handsets in the cabin which the passengers can use to make (very expensive) phone calls. Card File (Fire Detection cards, Hydraulic Indication cards, Miscellaneous ECS card, Fuel sensor cards, etc). The green coloured device in the corner (right hand side) is the motor and drive mechanism for the Nose Gear Alternate Extension system.

Picture 17 (Right crawlway)

Looking towards the nose from the MEC Main Battery (Silver Box), TRU's and Inverters, MAWEA card file (Aural Warning Cards).

Picture 18 (Right crawlway, 2)

Weather Radar Transceivers, Transformer/Rectifier Units (AC to DC converters), Stby Power Inverters (converts DC power to AC power)...
