V1.7.1 is an experimental release that hopes to have a workaround for a suspect 747IPC2 (not 3) issue. If your speed brakes extend when the nose of your plane hits heading 000 true (not magnetic), you still have the problem...

V1.7 sees mostly usability improvements. Hitching the Tug is now mandatory. This provides me with yet another moment to tell IPC to shut the f*** up in a desperate attempt to make Tug go away when its job is done. Also I added flaps lever position sensing, to avoid driving a Tug to a plane that intends to taxi out.

V1.6 has a totally rewritten internal engine, which solves all known algorithmic problems but not yet completely the known PS1 corruption problems. However we may have a workaround: it seems that for one reason or another, the SPEEDBRAKES get out of down when using Tug in some cases. If you make sure that your speedbrakes are down before takeoff, you should be fine.

Release 1.5 adds a built-in pause every 60 degrees of turn, which seems to prevent old IPC 2.x connectors to crash. Typically such a crash is visible by PS1 display mutilation. If this happens to you, try the "Pause Turns" option. If that helps, let me know!

Release 1.4 after a few alterations to get the 747IPC connection more stable. Still not totally as it should be. Any failure reports with circumstances of the failure welcome! Replication is the key to it all.

Release 1.1, minor feature: you can now also give a negative pushback time, which means a pullout.

Release one. Ivan's IPC3 version 9 seems to work OK and everybody may enjoy. This first public release also has some intelligence about whether a tug could logically be available or not, depending on the plane's ground speed.

Second open release (0.3-beta), with a bit smoother log file and a few other tiny improvements. I only now discovered that the excellent FlightCrew II by Rodney Redwin already does pushback tug sounds, so I will not implement these myself. At least until IPC3 version 9 hits the streets, this will remain the last Tug beta for a while.

First open release of the Tug, useful only for people with the very latest release of IPC3.
