This collection of extra airport ground layout sectors is meant as a replacement for those coming with Ivan Ngeow's original TWY program. Of course it also works with the newer Taxiway for Windows from the same author. It provides you with the same airports as originally in the SCENERY.TWY file, plus a whole lot more. For submissions, send a not too complex ProController ground sector file (*.SCT) to hoppie@home.nl. If you find problems with one of the entries, please tell me, too. You will need to add these airports to PS1 manually (using one of the Airport Adder programs). Contributions The virtual ATC community has produced a large number of ground sector files for use with the various radar programs available on the internet. If such a file is not too complex, the Taxiway Adder program (also from Ivan, see the same page as above) can convert it to TWY's internal format and add it to the SCENERY.TWY file. But the process is cumbersome for too many files. So I wrote a very small batch file which does this, enabling a complete regeneration of the original file from scratch plus the new additions. Obviously you need to have all sector files available to do this, so I keep a copy on my systems and can add files as required. I won't be able to go out and look for sector files myself, so you need to mail them to me, possibly after having edited them to get them smaller. Files over 1500 lines really contain too much junk and need to be cut down. KLAX was a good example. Usually these files are converted from AutoCAD files, and contain even the runway figures as vectors! Please edit them out first!
