This web site (www.hoppie.nl) is the personal site of Jeroen "Hoppie" Hoppenbrouwers, unaffiliated with any organisation or company, and not for commercial purposes. I do not offer commercial services or goods, and ask no fees for any purpose.

As I am a private person, I provide no detailed address or phone number. You can always reach me directly at my e-mail address, hoppie@hoppie.nl. The server providing the www.hoppie.nl web site is based in the Netherlands, part of the European Union.

A part of this web site provides Hoppie's ACARS, a hobby system that I developed many moons ago to provide simulated ACARS services to flight simulator hobbyists. Hoppie's ACARS requires an individual logon code linked to a user account to function. These user accounts are free of charge and can be requested online on this web site. To provide a reasonable way to reach individual users in case of trouble, an account is associated with an e-mail address that is checked once, on registration, for validity. Under no circumstances within my control will this e-mail address be used for mass-mail or be sold or provided to third parties.

Hoppie's ACARS keeps a record of a registered users' name, as given by the user but not verified, and e-mail address, verified by sending a code to this address on request. The purpose of this data is to reach the user in case of system trouble or abuse. The data will be retained until 120 days after the last use of the system by this account, after which it will be deleted and completely removed and forgotten. On request, I will provide the person using the registered e-mail address with the registered name and offer the option to update it, though the person can also simply re-register. On request I will delete the user account, but it can also be left to expire after 120 days.

Appropriate measures have been taken to protect the user's name and e-mail address from any unauthorized access, loss, or destruction. As this is a hobby system, some practical limitations apply.
